Studio is a hands-on sewing and craft studio with a maximum of 10 students at a time. For Summer Camp we will be turning the lovely Old Stone House of Park Slope into an amazing Sewing and Crafts Studio for 7 weeks We chose this location because it is a charming place with lots of windows and outdoor access for the kids to stay safe while they crafting and sewing. It will be held daily from 9 am to 3:30 p.m. with a late pick up option to 5pm Our camp schedule is based on week-long themes all summer. This week’s theme will be CALLING ALL FASHIONISTAS, where your child will design, Illustrate and sew their own outfit! They will make a top, a pair of shorts or skirt and matching accessories. They even get a chance to do some fashion illustrating if they fancy. Our founder Lara’s teaching method is to encourage individual thinking and creativity by letting our students have the freedom to create what they imagine. By offering principles and design guidance to guide this creativity the children will be in a formal yet playful environment that will both teach and entertain. For our repeating students we make sure they continue to be challenged and that they have new projects to entertain them.
