Service Description
Please note we recently revised our vaccine policy and ALL students must be vaccinated against Covid 19 to participate in all our camps and classes. MAKE IT! Studio is a hands-on sewing and craft studio with a maximum of 9 students at a time. For Summer Camp we will be turning the lovely Old Stone House of Park Slope into an amazing Sewing and Crafts Studio for 7 weeks. We chose this location because it is a charming place with lots of windows and outdoor access for the kids to stay safe while they crafting and sewing. It will be held daily from 9 am to 3:30 p.m. with a late pick up option to 5pm Our camp schedule is based on week-long themes all summer. This week’s theme will be BACK TO SCHOOL, where your children will make fabulous items that they will wear and use proudly when they head back to school in September. They will make an Upcycled backpack, Pencil Case, School Organizer, Back Pack Charms, Clay Pencil Toppers, Fun Accessories and more! Our teaching method is to encourage individual thinking and creativity by letting our students have the freedom to create what they imagine. By offering principles and design guidance to guide this creativity the children will be in a formal yet playful environment that will both teach and entertain. For our repeating students we make sure they continue to be challenged and that they have new projects to entertain them.
