AGES 18+ 7-8:45PM Join us for 4 fun evenings of sewing and leave with a completed quilted one of a kind toiletry bag. This class will be taught by renowned sewist, Van Tran! In 4 classes (each 1 hour and 45 minutes) you will learn the following.. The ins and outs of a sewing machine, from threading it to trouble shooting it. How to quilt fabric. How to cut fabric properly. How to correctly sew a zipper into a lined bag. And ultimately make an adorable one of a kind, lined, boxed corner toiletry bag! If you're a beginner and want to improve your sewing skills or even if you have never used a sewing machine before and have always wanted to learn, this class is perfect for you! You will have a beautiful selection of fabrics to choose from and ALL supplies are included! Let's get MAKING! Teacher Bio: Van Tran studied apparel design at SFSU and is an upcycled fashion designer. Before teaching sewing she worked in the fashion industry as a designer. She currently teaches sewing full time at a high school in Brooklyn. She enjoys her fun time at home with her dog Lulu with an iced coffee in hand.
