Miniatures Camp Week! 7/6 - 7/10

Service Description

Camp will be held daily from 9 am to 3:30 p.m. with an extended day option till 5pm. Our camp schedule is based on week-long themes all summer. This week’s theme will be Miniatures! Students will design and create a doll - it could be an animal, a mini version of themselves, etc. They will make a whole mini world for their doll, including a home, clothes, accessories, and even food using fabric, felt, and clay. We will have templates and patterns for whatever they choose. They will learn origami techniques for making furniture, and even a little crochet to make a mini rug! Our teaching method is to encourage individual thinking and creativity by letting our students have the freedom to create what they imagine. We guide their creativity through principles of sewing and design, fostering both fun and skill building. For our repeating students we make sure they continue to be challenged and that they have new projects to entertain them.
