Pop Star Camp Week! 8/10 - 8/14

Service Description

Camp will be held daily from 9:00am to 3:30pm. with an extended day option till 5:00pm. Our camp schedule is based on week-long themes all summer. This week’s theme will be inspired by their favorite pop stars! They will make a microphone stuffy, clothing items, accessories, and room decorations all inspired by the singer of their choice! We will teach them to use the sewing machine as well as jewelry and crafting techniques. Our teaching method is to encourage individual thinking and creativity by letting our students have the freedom to create what they imagine. We guide their creativity through principles of sewing and design, fostering both fun and skill building. For our repeating students we make sure they continue to be challenged and that they have new projects to entertain them. We also make sure not to repeat projects throughout the summer, so your child is welcome to sign up for multiple weeks. Contact Lara@studioMakeit.com if you have any questions! We added this week since 90%of our students are SWIFTIES and when we suggested this camp theme to them they squealed with excitement! They will make all things inspired by Miss Taylor Swift herself. A clothing item, a T.S. doll, SWIFTIES bag and other accessories, as well as pieces to decorate their room with. They will use the sewing machine and learn new jewelry and craft making techniques!
