This class will be held at our NEW LOCATION: 540 President Street 7 class or 13 class package on the following days Scheduled on the following days … Half Semester- 1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/28 Full Semester- 1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/28, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21, 3/28, 4/4, & 4/11 3:45 - 5:45 pm This class is taught by the renowned seamstress, Van Tran. Van teaches High School sewing with Portfolio Prep and is a legendary upcycle designer with a huge following on social media. This class is for all beginner and intermediate levels, including those who have never sewn before. Van will teach your child how to improve their sewing skills, and to bring their creative designs to life. During this process they will learn how to draft a pattern and how to make a professional looking garment. Whether your child wants to pursue a career in fashion or just has a passion for fashion, these are very important skills that can help them advance in any other creative field. We are limiting this class to 11 students with 3 of our most experienced teachers in garment construction And If your child would like to use the garment for their high school portfolio, Van will make sure if has all the requirements necessary for their school of choice.
